Band Students Selected with Honors Band

Seven D.C. Everest High School band students were selected to perform with the Valley Conference Honors Band on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Performing Arts Center in Wisconsin Rapids. The honors band guest conductor was Dr. Kirsten Tjornehoj from UW River Falls.

D.C. Everest students participating in honors band includes freshman McKenna Green (percussion), sophomores Kyle Hunter (saxophone) and Jack Tegart (trombone), juniors Nicholas Phalen (trumpet) and Peyton Green (percussion) and seniors Nicole Montag (flute) and Jenny Kehoe (French horn),
The Valley Conference Honors Band provides a high quality symphonic performing experience for committed high school students who wish to perform great symphonic literature, raise their level of playing, and nurture their love of music.
