- Congratulations to Landon Bauer - winner of the choice of candy for this week's IMC drawing. Stop in the IMC with a friend of your choice to claim your prize. Didn't win this week? Don't worry! - Be sure to bring your Everest Cash with you to lunch today! Tootsie Rolls are on sale today 10 for $1. A reminder cart will be out for the first 10 minutes of both A and B lunch.
- Attention Gaming Club members: First, all club members who brought in containers/tubs during Evercon should pick them up after school today. Second, there will be Carp Lunch today during both lunch periods. Finally, the next club event will be an officers meeting on Monday, Jan. 30 from 3:05-5:30pm. February events will be planned.
- In honor of Kindness Week, DECA is hosting a Jeans for Teens clothing drive. Through the entire week of Jan. 30, we invite students and staff to donate gently used clothing items in front of the IMC each morning. For every donation you will receive one raffle ticket, and two tickets for a pair of jeans. These tickets can be put into the raffle of your choice. Raffles will be drawn at the end of the week for gift baskets, as well as daily raffles for t-shirts, Bubbl'r, and vouchers to local restaurants.

- In honor of Kindness Week, DECA is hosting a "Jeans for Teens" clothing drive. Through the entire week of Jan.30, we invite students and staff to donate gently used clothing items in front of the IMC each morning. For every donation you will receive one raffle ticket, and two tickets for a pair of jeans. These tickets can be put into the raffle of your choice. Raffles will be drawn at the end of the week for gift baskets, as well as daily raffles for t-shirts, Bubbl'r, and vouchers to local restaurants.

Every checkout is a chance to win your choice of candy (and we'll throw in an extra for your sweetheart). Feeling brave? Check out any of the wrapped books and receive special pink drawing slips. Pink slip winners will receive 2 Movie Passes, Starbucks Gift Cards, AND a box of chocolates. Any interested 8th or 9th grade student should come to the little theater on Thur-Jan. 26 at 7:25 to learn about the Wolfpack Lacrosse Club and the DCE Everest Lacrosse Team! If you play lacrosse already or would like to try it out, come and hear all about it this Thursday.
- Attention Gaming Club Members: First, there will be a Carp Lunch today during the first lunch period. On Friday, there will be Carp Lunches during both lunch periods. Second, the next Gaming Club event will be on Fri-Jan.27 7:00-7:35am. All club members need to attend unless excused by Mr. Ammon.

- Thank you to everyone who attended Evercon last weekend! Also, a very special thank you goes to all staff members who donated items and/or gave monetary donations to this year's Evercon Charity Auction. The following staff members should be congratulated for their kindness: Mrs. Bohm, Mrs. Heidi Kolodziej, Mr. Stingl, Mrs. Hoesly, Mrs. Oosterhuis, Mr. Burish, Mrs. Ammon and Mr. Ammon. Evercon 2024 will be on March 1, 2, 3! Plans are underway for an even larger and more exciting gaming convention. Lord Evercon has now flown away, and he will be back next year!

D.C. Everest DECA was among one of 15 Wisconsin DECA Chapters and one of 525 chapters that achieved THRIVE level recognition this year and will be commended at DECA’s International Career Development Conference(ICDC).
