    I have been teaching group fitness since March of 2015.  In m spare time I enjoy biking, boating, reading, and spending time outdoors.  Growing up, I did not play any sports and was not athletic in the slightest way.  I was usually categorized as clumsy and uncoordinated.  I never would have imagined that I would be able to teach an exercise class.

    Les Mills Bodypump

     

    Specialties:

    Bodypump is non-intimidating weight lifting class.  This class is designed for people with all fitness levels ranging from someone who has never worked out to the extreme fit.  Everyone will leave feeling successful.  There are ten tracks that each focus on a specific muscle group so it really is a total body workout.

    I started teaching group fitness at Wausau Health & Fitness in 2001.  I enjoy working out, teaching classes, and spending time with my husband.   Also, my other life involves me being a RN, which I earned my degree at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau.

     

    Goal:

    To earn my 500-RYT and Aryuveda certificate.

    Les Mills RPM – Instructor

    200-RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher)

    I teach to the students acknowledging their fitness needs.

    I started teaching bodypump a few years ago. Shortly after I became certified in Johnny G Spinning.  When Greenheck Field House launched Les Mills RPM, I became certified.  In my spare time, I am a mom and wife first and foremost.  My free time is spent playing tennis and spending quality time with friends and family.

    Specialties:

    I believe strength training is essential for all people.  It has changed my life.  Bodypump is the best way to get members strong and healthy while in a safe, controlled environment.  RPM is the perfect cardio compliment for everyone.  It is addicting and the BEST!

    I started teaching group exercise in May of 2013.  In my spare time I like to run, hang out with friends and family.

    I ran the Boston Marathon in 2016 and I’m working on finishing my master’s degree.

    My passion has been my yoga practice since 1990.  I began teaching adult yoga and started lightbodY, llc in June 2014.   I enjoy yoga, bodypump classes, running, playing keyboard, hiking, skiing, golfing, tennis, travel, being with my family, my cats, and my husband.

     

    Goal:

    To earn my 500-RYT and to teach yoga to more children.

    To teach worldwide.

    Specialties:

    I enjoy being an all-levels teacher while placing special emphasis on proper alignment in a stretch, balance, strength, breathing, and meditation.  During the summer of 2015, I earned my certificate to teach Children’s Yoga.  Classes are held at Greenheck Field House and at the DC Everest Elementary Schools.

    Tonia

    I received my Yoga Body Bootcamp certification on April 23rd 2016.  While new to fitness instructing, fitness and dance have been part of my life for as long as I can remember.  I began taking dance lessons at the age of 3, and tap dancing was my favorite.  I continued to dance and participate in group exercise throughout my adult life. 

     

    In my spare time, I have three boys, ages 12, 9, and 3 and a husband that keeps me very busy.  I also have a fulltime job as a social worker with North Central Health Care’s birth to age 3 program.  Our family enjoys camping and riding four wheelers.

    Yoga Body Bootcamp

     

    Specialties:

    Yoga Body Bootcamp is for all levels of fitness because it is your workout!  The class is designed differently every week with yoga like warm ups.  Then moving onto station work of strength, cardio, and balance.  Finishing the class with yoga postures for cool down.
