Registering for School
4 Year Old Kindergarten (4K) Registration
Online and paper registrations for the 2020-2021 school year will be accepted starting February 10, 2020. Online registration is encouraged.
The D.C. Everest 4K program partners with community early childhood professionals who are dedicated to providing high quality learning experiences to all four-year-old children. Enrolled four-year-olds will experience developmentally appropriate activities in a safe and caring environment, where each child is viewed as a unique learner. Registration materials are available at 4K community sites or on the district website. For more information or questions concerning the DCE 4K program, please contact Terese Baier, 4K Coordinator.
Any child registering for 4-Year Old Kindergarten must be 4 YEARS OLD by September 1, 2020.
D.C. Everest 4K program students continuing on to a D.C. Everest elementary school do not need to fill out registration forms or provide birth certificates. Please provide updated medical forms prior to the first day of school.
Kindergarten registration will be held the first full first week in February. Children registering for Kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st of the school year for which they are registering. Bring your child’s birth certificate and immunization records with you to register.

New Elementary Students
New students should pick up and drop off registration materials at the elementary school in their attendance area. Students new to the district may register between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Please bring your child’s birth certificate and immunization records with you to register. If a birth certificate is not available, the parent can complete Form 5111 F1 and submit the documentary evidence listed. If custody has been established by the courts, a copy of the court order or placement papers must be submitted.
If you do not live in the DC Everest School District you must also complete the Open Enrollment forms at https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment.

The inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside. The DPI open enrollment forms can be found here.
