    SNAG Golf
The D.C. Everest Community Services Office is excited to offer SNAG golf lessons this winter! SNAG stands for “Starting New At Golf” and is a fun game that is easy to learn and can be played anywhere. SNAG contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form. Falling somewhere between mini-golf and regulation golf, SNAG allows for full shots, pitching, chipping and putting. It is a proven learning & training tool for entry-level golfers and those just looking to have fun!

Lessons will be taught by PGA Professional Buck Welsh. Buck also teaches our youth and adult golf lessons during the summer months. Instruction will include lessons on the stance, grip, full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, etiquette and rules. SNAG has its own unique set of equipment, suitable for indoor play, and all equipment is provided as part of the lessons. SNAG clubs and balls are much easier for kids to use, making the class enjoyable for everyone. To learn more about SNAG golf, visit the product website at www.snaggolf.com. Contact the community Services office at 715-359-6563 for program information. Pre-registration is required.  You do not need to attend session 1 in order to register for session 2.  These sessions will cover the same material.

    Youth Indoor Soccer

Our indoor soccer program is open to boys and girls age 4 - 5th grade.  Participants will be divided into teams and will meet once per week for skills practice followed by a soccer game.  No soccer experience is necessary.  Participants in 1-5th grade are required to wear shin guards.  The deadline to register is Friday, January 10th but please register early since we only have a limited number of spaces available in each age level.  If an age level fills up, we will start a waiting list.  Additional teams may be created from the waiting list, depending on registration numbers and available space.

We are always in need of volunteer coaches to help make this program successful.  When registering, please consider volunteering to coach your child's team.

**New this year, each child may make one mutual friend request.  For example, if Anna requests Becky, Becky must request Anna.  Please read our friend request & team formation policy prior to registration.
