Welcome to our Encore and more website! During the off-site learning experience students will be receiving lessons from their Art (Mrs. Moore), Guidance (Mrs. Brecke), Library/Computers (Mrs. Dembowski), Music (Mrs. Wilichowski) and Phy-ed (Mr. Kollross) teachers.
As specialists, each of us value the importance of the "complete" child and we have dedicated our careers to those areas of expertise - the creativity of art and music, keeping our bodies physically fit, the importance of team work, teaching students mindset strategies and life skills and providing technology skills and access to reading for both fun and to gain knowledge.
In essence our goal is to help to create “Lifelong Learners” which includes teaching students how to think both for themselves and outside of the box.
Below are additional ideas for students and parents - both technology-oriented and "screen-free"...Enjoy! #StrongerTogether
**The circulation team at the Public Library has devised a way to issue cards during our closure! Anyone wanting to apply for a library card during the closure (which will allow them to access the digital catalog and our online resources) can apply for a card online here: https://www.mcpl.us/catalogs/apply-for-a-library-card. After a card application is submitted, a member of the circulation team will call the person to get some additional details (for example, if it's a minor, they will get the parents' information) and will then issue the person their card number over the phone. The card will be good for the duration of our closure.
