2025 SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION: 
NOTICE THAT NO INCUMBENTS HAVE FILED A NOTIFICATION OF NONCANDIDACY

D.C. Everest Area School District

This is notice that none of the incumbent school board members whose term of office expires in April 2025 and whose seat will be contested at the 2025 Spring Election have filed a Notification of Noncandidacy, as further provided under section 120.06(6)(b)3 of the state statutes.

The deadline for filing a timely Notification of Noncandidacy was December 27, 2024.

Filing a Notification of Noncandidacy is not mandatory, and declining to file the notification does not necessarily mean that the incumbent has fully qualified to appear on the ballot as a candidate for reelection.

In the event that any of the incumbent school board member(s) whose term of office expires in April 2025 does not file a Declaration of Candidacy by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the School District will provide prompt notice of any such incumbent’s noncandidacy. In addition, when such an incumbent has neither filed a timely Notification of Noncandidacy nor filed a Declaration of Candidacy by the applicable deadlines, the candidate filing deadline for the affected office(s) is subject to a 72-hour extension for other qualified electors.
