RFP Facility Study

Proposals Must be Submitted by April 14, 2025 at 4:00 pm.

DC Everest is looking for partners to assist in an upcoming facility study. We are reaching out to invite you to share a proposal for consideration. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving educational environments, we are focusing on specific areas of need in our school facilities, particularly the Junior High School and the space allocations for our 4K and Early Childhood Education programs.

The focus of this facility study will be on two specific areas of need rather than conducting a district-wide analysis, as a comprehensive review was completed during the last referendum process. The objectives of this study are twofold:
Evaluate the Current Condition of the Junior High School Facility: We seek to assess the physical condition of the building and its infrastructure, with particular attention to safety, accessibility, and long-term viability. Immediate concerns will be identified and addressed accordingly.

Identify Space Needs for 4K and Early Childhood Education Programs: A key area of focus will be analyzing current space allocations and determining what is necessary to support the growth and development of our 4K and early childhood classrooms. Recommendations for expansions or renovations will be explored to meet these needs.
We intend to develop a proactive strategy that aligns with the district’s long-term educational goals. This includes accommodating future enrollment changes, updating spaces to support evolving teaching methods, and ensuring financial sustainability through the efficient use of resources.

It is our plan to select both an architect and general contractor to work together for the facility study. We may consider a firm that can offer both perspectives. We are asking that proposals be submitted by April 14th at 4pm. Upon reviewing all submitted proposals, the District will select firms to interview. (Interview dates: May 2 & May 7)

Details for completing the RFP can be found here.
