Summer Learning Program Information

  • Time to ShineJoin us this summer to learn new skills, explore new interests, and make new friends!

The DCE Summer Learning Program is held June 13 - July 14, Monday-Thursday (no classes July 4). The program is available for students entering Kindergarten through those currently in 11th grade (entering 12th grade for the 2022-23 school year). Transportation is provided and there is no cost to attend.

Before registering, please read through the general instructions below for important information and note the following when registering your student for the DCE Summer Learning Program:

    • Students must register for the grade level they are currently in/just completed, not the grade level they are entering for the 2022-23 school year.
    • Registering online (via Infinite Campus) for summer learning courses and busing is highly encouraged. If you are registering through Infinite Campus for busing, you must register each student individually.
    • Registration will close April 15 at midnight.
    • Students in grades 4K through 4 will attend either Rothschild Elementary or Weston Elementary based on the school boundary for their home address. If your child is in grades 4K-4 and needs to attend the other summer school location (than what is shown in the portal) due to daycare, busing, etc., please email the Summer School Office to have your child switched to the other school. Once your child's enrollment has been changed, you will be able to register them online at the correct school.

Confirmation letters for Summer Learning are sent in late May.

If you have registered your child for summer learning, you will receive confirmation via email for enrollment. If you do not have an email on file, then a confirmation letter will be sent home through school with your child in May. If you have not received an email or letter by May 25th, please call 715-359-4221 ext. 1800 or email the Summer School Office.

If busing was requested, Lamers Bus Lines will mail busing schedules to parents by June 4, 2022.

Summer Learning Locations and Times

  • Please note:

    • Students who attend Odyssey Elementary will be assigned a summer school location based on the school boundary for their home address.
