Families Will Get Temporary Food Benefits in Place of Free or Reduced Price School Meals
Due to school closures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, families with a child or children who usually get free or reduced price school meals will get temporary food benefits in place of the school meals. These benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT. You can learn more about the Food Benefits program here.
Thanks to our parents and generous donations from our community. For example, in just one week during April we distributed:
- 5,862 children's meals
- 1,802 adult meals
- 200 family weekend meals
If you would like to donate to our Grab and Go meals fund for the community, checks can be made out to DCE-FOOD and mailed to 6300 Alderson St., Weston, WI 54476
Funds will be used to order in bulk from food suppliers without compromising supplies for our local stores.
