Welcome 4K Students and Families!
What a wonderful time in your child’s early learning experience to be a part of the D.C. Everest School District 4K Program! We are very excited to have your child be an Evergreen, and begin this school journey with us! Our D.C. Everest 4K classrooms are housed at ten community-based sites in the District. You can view the location of each 4K Partner Site here.
The D.C. Everest 4K Program is dedicated to developmentally appropriate practice and a robust learning environment for all children. Our talented and dedicated teachers provide play-based learning activities daily, where children can truly learn by experiencing their world.
At the heart of our 4K program is the Social-Emotional development of each student. It is our goal to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and practice the skills for life-long learning.
Family involvement is key to early learning experiences both for your child and for you as parents. This is truly the first step in their education, and building strong relationships between home and school is foundational to ongoing success!
