Title 1 Family
Math Night Title 1's annual MathMania Night was held on February 19 at Schofield School. Participants in the
event found a wide variety of fascinating math games and puzzles to
stimulate their number and logic sense! Activities included assembling
2D and 3D tangram shapes, counting games, puzzles that called for
logical manipulation of parts, coin, and measuring with a giant balance
scale! In addition, all children participating were eligible to win a variety of prizes, including a "Leapster L-Max Learning Game System," as drawings were held every ten minutes. The kids could also take a chance on winning a prize by spinning a big "Wheel of Fortune"-type wheel. Lucky winners of the estimation contests won containers full of the candy whose quantity they had guessed. Refreshments were provided and a good time was had by all. |
