GroupWise NotifyGroupWise Notify is an additional feature of GroupWise. When this portion of the program is running, it will notify you that you have received a new e-mail message. Most machines will not automatically launch GroupWise Notify during the login process. These machines are set up that way for security reasons. These instructions will explain how to activate GroupWise Notify. Please remember that when Notify is running, anyone that would click the GroupWise icon on your desktop will have access to your e-mail account. They will not be asked for a password because Notify keeps your GroupWise account "active" in the background – even when you have GroupWise closed. To launch GroupWise Notify: 1. Click Start Menu 2. Click Programs 3. Click GroupWise 4. Click GroupWise Notify
5. You will be prompted to enter your password. 6. When Notify is active, you will see the following icon located in the taskbar (lower right-hand corner of the desktop)
7. If you would like to close Notify without logging out, you can right-click on the Notify icon and select "Exit" from the pop-up menu.
