Civil War Day

Civil war day allows our students to have a hands-on day of activities dealing with the American Civil War (1861-1865).  Having the opportunity to view a simulated battlefield surgery, eating hardtack, or watching a play on the "Fighting 54th" can be far more memorable than simply reading about it in a text (not to mention a lot of fun for both students and staff).
